Trip to Lake District

A week in the Lake District and only two photos to show! It was a 'family holiday' so I was fairly limited to middle of the day shooting and it was a fairly flat, dull and drizzly week. The only decent light we had was when we went to Buttermere so I managed the 'classic' buttermere shot of the pines and one of a little hut at the top end of the lake.

After discounting this one because it looked super flat RAW I decided to give it a shot. After a heavy, square crop and mono conversion and some playing round with contrast it seemed worthy of keeping.
