Turnstone

A couple of Turnstone in Lanzarote the other week

These were in the rocks below the terrace of our apartment, I had to get around to the shore side of them to get the sun behind me, then try and get comfy on the rocks and slowly get closer to them, not too much of a chore in shorts and a tee shirt in November

Great shots, the first being the better of the two imo. I was trying to take turnstones the other day but the sun was over the sea with them on a rock jutting into the sea. Obviously I couldn't get behind them for better lighting like you managed to do!
