That first shot is outstanding. Lots of space to give the plane some room to play in, and an absolutely fabulous sky. I'm not really into plane photos but that one really works well.

Thanks Ian, appreciate your very kind comment. Yeah and I know what you mean. Plain plane photos can sometimes be, well, rather plain! (erm, no offence to all the superb close-up plane aficionados, I just couldn't resist a little word play)
 
The first shot is one of the very best aviation images I've ever seen, utterly superb.

A good lesson in showing the subject within it's setting rather than cropping to within one pixel too.
