The second one, i prefer the colours and the fact you can see more of the buildings.
 
Both good but I would say No2, the flare in the 1st is a little distracting and I do like the way the text on the gravestone adds to the second.
 
Thanks for the feedback. Yes.......the flare divides opinion!

Agreed. The buildings do add to the photograph. I guess to improve a little more I could stand further back and used a slightly longer focal length to bring the buildings out a tad more but without losing the foreground subjects.
