Two takes on Roseberry Topping

Taken yesterday. I didn't realise there was so much detail in the sky until I edited in Nik Color Efex.

Taken yesterday. I didn't realise there was so much detail in the sky until I edited in Nik Color Efex.

And the answer is, of course, that there wasn't (but that never stopped Nik). You picture woud probably go down a storm on some facebook sites, but round here it's just seem as too heavily processed.

The first is potentially nice, with the sky backed off and then cropped about 15-20% down from the top.

The second is processed & converted well, but the composition doesn't really grab me.

Thanks for the comments. I have toned it down and cropped it. That looks better to me.

Much prefer No3 Mike, for the reasons given.
Looks much more realistic.

Still haven't got my shot this year. Missed the Bluebells too! And its just round the corner from me.
