We bobbed up to Twycross and Chester for a few days last week. No sign of the snow leopard cubs at Twycross (I've never even seen the adults so not a big suprise) but the baby apes / monkeys were on FINE form. Gave a few of the shots the B&W treatment - not to everyones taste but I like it - and think it helps when you've got some dodgy backgrounds. Anyway - C&C always welcome. Even if you hate mono animal shots ;)

1. Look at the knees - have you ever seen anything so cute! Baby Bonobo...

2. Baby gorilla catching a ride with mum...

3. Baby gorilla demonstrating the 'superman' style of ridealong. No hands...

4. Another baby Bonobo being unbearably sweet...

Thanks for looking :)

You got it in one, I'm not keen on mono animal shots, would love to see the colour versions
They all look sharp and well exposed to me

Thanks Ingrid - not processed them in colour yet but perhaps I'll give it a go and put them up for comparison.

Look forward to seeing them (y)

Did you check the top of the stone wall on the far right looking from the cafe?
That is their usual hidey hole :D

I'm not a fan of B&W either, Fi, but the baby in #4 is very cute (y)

Im with Chris on this one Im afraid Fi.....
I think youngsters need the warmth that colour brings, altho I accept that b+w has its advantages......

S'ok - each to their own and all that - I appreciate the feedback ;)

black and white seems to work better in some than others .... might try it myself!
