Visited today on the weather-girl's promise of a warm sunny day

Anyway, here's a couple ... taken in between the raindrops and the coffee breaks and with a bit of HDR/Tone-mapping:)

#1 D2Hs & Sigma 10-20

#2 D3 & Nikon 24-70

What a wonderful building (y) I love the look of it (y) and the gardens look good too, the sky is a but dull but then that's the fault of the weather girl's :nono: :naughty:

I think that the colours are so much nicer the and more balanced in the first with the lovely colour of the stone work in that one, the second the stonework seems a little cold compared to the vegetation in the scene :(

#1 was a proper 3 pic Photomatix HDR whereas #2 was a CS5 pseudo-HDR from a single pic - I think that I've got more work to do to master how that one is tweaked.

We popped in a couple of years ago only to find that it was covered with scaffolding. Really like no. 2

Thanks - all scaffolding down now but I had to clone out some stupid rope and bars around the grass.
