Yep what's amazing is that they can get up there and roost on the lower power wires and maybe 40ft plus up in tall pine type trees

They are noisy, slow flyers, quite big birds, a couple of kgs .. spend a lot of time running around but I have never seen them attacked by the local BOP's ....... they do flock in large groups ........ but thinking about it I have never seen them on the menu in S Africa ........ lots of other stuff from Crocodile upwards

I like that image. Came very close to getting some to add to my chickens but even clipped, they're buggers for getting up high and escaping.
