So there is the USSC held at Crail raceway (drag strip) annually. A few of my friends were heading up, so thought I should go along too. I now have some slightly odd sunburn (baseball cap on backwards leaving a nice red UFO on my forehead)... Unfortunately due to a breakdown during testing the Supra didn't run in the end.

As soon as I saw the burnout in #2 on the back of the camera it was one of those shots you just know is good. #4 does look like a toy car, until you hear it. It was funny how quiet all the new cars were compared to the old machines.
 
#2 could make a really good atmospheric photo when processed. I gave it a very rough go on my iPhone

@Russy you know what really shows up in your edit is the genuinely smoking tarmac at the start of the burnout. I will definitely be revisiting the edit on these shots and try out pushing it a little further. As its my friends Supra, I'll have a few more opportunities to shoot it in the future too.
 
Love the Moggy! Although I would expect it to have a composite flip front rather than being reel steal!

So do I. It's no real surprise, but it was fast. You can almost see in the picture that the driver is pretty much in the back seat. I saw it beat an Ariel atom during the day.

Thanks. I think it is one of my "bad" habits that I really don't make the most of processing images. In this case there was just so much more impact to be had.
