First week in March, 06:00 h. early morning and I invited this
23 members club for coffee at a greasy spoon just by a high-
way's exit. Once all arrived and every single cup was emptied,
we headed for a usual class at the usual marsh.

FIRST HOUR — sharing tips for the day's unknown assignment
SECOND HR — Q&A
LAST TWO — ASSIGNMENT: go anywhere, shoot anything
but bring back the craziest (in any aspect ever) wildlife shot any-
one could have ever taken. All artistic intents are acceptable and
encouraged.

Of course, I went shooting too and I brought this one…

C&C welcome

I like it. Love the contrast between the feather and the water.
I'm sure I've seen a similar shot from you before.

Right Robert, I like these and this one was to set my
contribution aside from those of the group (hoping no
one will have had the same idea!) who concentrated on
good ordinary subjects but under masses of time in PP
trying special effects… and what not.

The good conclusion that came out of the exercise is that,
in most of their pictures, each was trying to figure out the
used effect in the trick box as my little feather got more
attention on its simplicity. Their understanding of crazy was
too much like "out of this world" instead of unexpected.

Thanks for your comment.

Don't quite understand what the title of this thread ("Unclaimed Lost and Found") is referring to?

Nobody will ever miss a lost feather
but I like their visual effect when I find one!
Interesting, almost a Sidney opera house feel to it.
I like the way your mind works, Dave…
I did not think of that one! :)
A bird has lost a feather and Daniel found it?
…yeah, that was it…
maybe too simple or too abstract!

I love the simplicity of it but what's really cool is the reflection. The reflection looks a surfaced submarine with a reflection.

Well I am liking it and I find it fascinating
Nice shot Kodiak.

the light on the feather makes this shot. I like it a lot so pleasant on the eye.

Right, Danny, light is everything
on any/everything. Glad you like!

Very nice, I like the way that one can see every line, in the feather and the reflection.

its quite abstract...i see the lines and wish i had 'seen' something like this on my travels too
cheers
