Critique Underpass

Mildly interesting. Personally I'd want to frame it straight on, and maybe not such a tight crop. The uneven roofline at the top of the frame nags at my OCD. Possibly get a little more detail from the underpass walls as well? There appear to bee some strong lines in the brickwork, so perhaps a little more detail at the entrance at least to add to the effect of guiding the eyes in?

Cool for me, good tonal range.
Looks a bit like a Sci-Fi way to nature through some kind of…
gizmo-gate (effect being accentuated by the neon fixtures)!

Julian..taking it straight on as it were would not have quite the same effect as 'light at the end of the tunnel' as the structure runs away to the left..lightening the shadows and blacks I did try but the effect of the neons on the brickwork was diminished and the figure and dog became too light
Thanks for your comments and duly noted

That's nice Robin, and very well seen. Good composition and a nice full range of B&W tones.(y)
