I think number three could be a very interesting shot cropping out the sky and a crop to remove the ferns in the bottom right and other intrusions along the left edge. Unfortunately the flat light isn't working for you with number four.

I too think the little reflection in 3 is a very nice touch and adds a little extra to the scene. I think though autumn or summer is the time for this - something about bare trees doesn't sit right with me.

I like your Combshead pic. The Venford ones are quite nice but imho it's a boring location with hundreds of identical shots.
