US cars? Surely the DeLorean was built in Northern Ireland using European engines and designers? Most were sold in the US but IIRC, more Rolls Royces are sold in China than any other market but that doesn't make them Chinese - they're German these days!!!

You are right! There is not much U.S. content in them, apart from John DeLorean's ideas .... ---

Seen a few of these on the telly over lockdown. IIRC, Richard Rawlins and his mate Dennis had a couple go through their hands (Fast & Loud, Gas Monkey Garage), Wayne Corrini had one (Chasing Classic Cars) and Mike Wolf(e) of American Pickers fame pulled a fairly far gone one out of some undergrowth a few series back. Not one of Mr Healey's prettier efforts IMO!
