It was pretty good, 300bhp was hindered slightly with the weight but it sounded nice regardless. Not too thirsty when cruising which was a nice surprise!
Hi, thank you for sharing your experiences! :) Years ago I had a LINCOLN Town Car with an electronic fuel consumption display as a rental. When accelerating, fuel rushed through, but when cruising on the highway,
fuel consumption was reasonable. Most U.S. cars switch off a few cylinders when cruising, now. -

That was my first thought too but IIRC, although Chrysler took over the Rootes group towards the end, Imps were all badged as Hillmans or Sunbeams, even those sold in NA.

I think it's a '67 or '68 (My brothers far more of an expert) this one is a 289ci cobra jet (that's 4.7 liters) quite a bit more powerful than the 200ci my brother had.
