A US Navy support vessel visiting Scotland.

Does this composition work, or is the empty area to the left simply "wrong"? I was trying to capture how the vessel sits in the Loch.

Sky doesn't bother me that much. I really like the composition and more importantly, the intent.

I was trying to capture how the vessel sits in the Loch.

As far as I'm concerned, if you arranged your composition with some sort of plan, it's worked. For me - it says something like "This boat is big - but do you know what? Nature is bigger."
