Well still not having much luck finding things, well not when I have my camera :(

Seen a Green bodied beetle and sac spider and a new centipede when I removed the cover of our kids picnic bench. Did I have camera NOPE! :rage:

Nice variety there Bryn.

I'm interested that you used flash with the flower; that worked out well.

Nice detail in the three beetle shots, especially the eyes, but they look rather dark overall to my eye. They seem rather difficult to work with, but there may be a redistribution of lightness that brings out some detail in those very dark/black areas on its back and lightens up the background a bit too. I don't recall what software you are using, but In Lightroom I tried exposure up by over a stop, highlights pulled down a long way, shadows up a long way and blacks down quite a long way.

Nice focus placement with the spider.

Taste issue - I find the dof rather narrow on the barkfly.
