I'm not really an expert in portrait....so I'm not sure if any of these 2 works well. I liked the way the girl was posing...so not natural to me :p

Any suggestion ?

I'd have probably chosen a wider aperture for the second shot to blur the noisy background a little more.

As said i would have tried to take out the distractions in the back ground, as mention use of wider aperture or a longer lens could have been used... i also feel number one is the best framed shot as there is not as much negative space in the top of the frame. HTH.

Lovely pictures.

In number one I would have tried to decolourise the information board to her left.
Would this reverse spot colour reanimate a poor kitten?

@ponch In reality though, as they're both so similar, I'd just use/show/print the first shot and leave the second one out. After all, you wouldn't really use/show/print these two images together would you, as they're essentially the same image.
