View of The Roaches

The only keeper for my day trip to the Leek area of the Peak District (64 miles)
Cropped appropriately not to show too much foreground long grass, managed to block out the big industrial units behind one of the steps of the ladder.

The distant view is what it's all about for me here. I think I'd have got ahead of that grass and climbed the fence and just shot into the distance not bothering with foreground.

It's a very reasonable take and a pleasing image. The fence may not be what you ideally have as a foreground, but then not having it would make an image much weaker with presumably no other real alternatives. Of course I'd like the grass greener or frosty but that is what we have now this depressing time of the year.

Yeah the ladders especially, grass and wall were the reasons I made a half and half scene.
