I'm thinking of going to Holme Pierrepont, Purely to take photographs of the white water rafting and canoeing.
Is this allowed and worthwhile doing. Is there a cost involved.

It's a fair ride away from me, but if photograpy IS allowed, it could be good for action shots.
Grateful if you could update with any response you get.
Thank you.

No cost to photograph at HPP and you can easily get to water level there for some great action shots

I went several years ago when I first got a DSLR, and yes the only charge was the car park. Took a few shots of the white water kayakers. Keep meaning to go back now I've got more experience and better lenses.

Thank you.
I've rung the number given by [Nikon photographer] And a very nice lady suggested i e-mailed someone in a separate office. This i did last Monday and so far I have not received a reply. However the replies from Hugh and Jon above, imply that its ok to just go and photograph the white water events.

Thank you John.
I'll give it a run out during the summer period.
Hopefully there should be some good activity.
