B&W Volcanic Beach, Candelaria, Tenerife

Again from my recent trip to Tenerife, it was quite a fascinating beach, very beautiful even though black, the sand itself was interesting too as it doesn't stick to your skin like normal sand does:

I don't think the burnt out waves do much for this. Would a lower perspective have been better?

I think that cropping out the top could be a good idea, what do you think?

I'd take some off the bottom too and try to clone some detail into the waves, maybe from another photo. This is a rough attempt

Thank you for the comments, and indeed it looks quite good without the waves too and it bring a bit more focus on the sand and the rocks which was the intention of the photo anyway.
