Its a petrfied seal?.. (think i spelt that wrong)

Must be the midwife in me - it looks like a (very odd) breast  but I'm presuming it's a shell. The DOF is a little too shallow for my liking tho.

Minnie...thanks for the warning, I've just been upstairs and cut the plugs off the bedside lamps.

Whilst I'm here, anybody want to trade a wife (1958 date code) for an EF600 f/2.8....I'll pay the postage but please be quick.:naughty:

Bob

PS...I'm in such a state now that the IS on my EF300 can't cope anymore.

You really have seen some odd breasts in your time Cheryl  :puke:

I agree that a fair bit more DOF would give the shot more interest

Yes, that works much better imo (still looks like a crusty nip tho )

it's a whelk (thing) and it's only about 2cm's high. Nikon 105 macro I stole off my mate for a bit at f2.8 (that f'in 2.8 mm's btw)

I just liked the texture and the warm evening light on it.

I'm not sure the VR on the nikon is much use for macro stuff. i think it just gets confused lol!
