This little lighthouse on the sea wall protects ships from running aground on the rocky seabed of the Bristol Channel at Watchet. At high tide the water fills the harbour allowing the fishermen in and out of the town - at low tide the sea drops back a long way, far past the lighthouse! I was greeted with a fantastic array of colours illuminating the clouds when I arrived. Made the drive worthwhile at least!

I like it. Not easy to make a subtle and straightforward subject look just right.
