First one - why not
Second one - maybe not it's a bit too much to my taste

Plus i prefer the blue tint of the first.

I agree, Thomas… I had a hour and spent it at the
marsh. No bird was doing the right thing at the right
place for me — let's say they never do… I have an
severe authority problem with wildlife :D — and luck
was not playing along either.

So I decide to look for other subjects and the pun
water colour popped up!

Very nice pictures , ideal as reference to the painter in us.

I was referring to the photos themselves.

You have been quite critical of the work I've posted on here and then I see you post these two up.

Can't say I'm a fan.

Everything posted is subject to critique… and rightly so. My
critiques always go to the posted images and never to the
author. I have some ideas about photography but I don't know
you at all… so nothing personal in my comments.

Can't say I'm a fan.
I understand that and it is legitimate, absolutely.

The magazine that commissioned these pictures has published
the first faded down to +/- 70% and used it for the title cover of
an article on a water supply company. I do lots of images with
the purpose of layouts and publications.

My post was more like a word play "water colours".
