Does anyone know if there are any colour code lists regarding the above. There is a little information on the web, but none on what the information the codes supply for example dates and locations.

^ beat me to it. It would seem that any ringing is done by local groups but perhaps the BTO have a central register of the groups and the ringing codes? I would hope the BTO could put you in touch with the local group on your patch?

Thanks for reply's I had actually been on this site before I posted and although giving examples of birds returning, it does not supply full data of codes. It was nice to see that they have a life span of a few years
