this image is bugging me! I was going to delete it but i looked at it and thought hmmmm I don't know :shrug: ,
so i think some C&C is needed please
I think it looks good but also its not right :shrug:
what do you think ? be honest, you know what they say "no pain no gain" :LOL:

The relief of the subject didn't really lend itsself to the shallow DOF of a macro shot. If the areas in focus faded out to a blur then it would be fine. The high spot just below and right of centre gives you an OOF part in the middle of the image. OOF areas can be artistic but not here...not for me anyway.

Nice idea but the lighting is far too strong I think. Is it natural light? if so maybe some fill flash would help.
