Great shot, as you’ve said, great to get the full train and the bridge. The lighting is lovely, really makes the shot, you should be very happy with it.

No - it's a diesel at the back to provide heating for the little snowflakes seeing Santa :)

...and to get an extra smile from those of us who are happy to see a diesel too. In this case it was 33109 Captain Bill Smith RNR I think.:)

Great shot Dave, I missed this one, some nice backlit light you got there. I've been watching the Black 5 44871 on the ELR today.

Oy, you are welcome. Yes the light helped, but you must have already have worked out that the locomotive would be working hard at that point, that the signal would fill the blank space to the right of the loco and being white would act as a 'stop' to prevent the viewers eye going out of the right hand side of the frame.
