This fellow landed in the hedge at the side of the car and proceeded to feed, the shot is un-cropped and taken through the rear side window of the car, so any smudges on it are from the dirty window lol

Finally managed to get bullfinches yesterday. Only seen a single one a couple of times before and both times it flew off before I had the chance to get a shot. Never seen a female before.

Great northern diver (juvenile)

Saw two of these (not necessarily juveniles) from a boat on the Exe estuary a couple of weeks ago. I think it may be the first time I've seen one away from Scotland and out of breeding plumage. For anyone in the south west, the wildlife watching (primarily birds but we also saw a seal) boat trips on the Exe estuary are well worth it.
