Hi All
What would be the widest angle lens I could put on Nikon FX camera with vignetting?
Cheers

Samyang 14mm, great FF UWA.

This should have been posted in the equipment thread though, not photo sharing!

With vignetting? I use a Sigma 8mm fisheye which gives a full circular image. Without it, I use a Sigma 12-24mm and a Tamron 14mm which give unshadowed coverage of the whole 36x24mm frame (the Tamron gives the same field of view as the Samyang but is an autofocus lens while the Samyang is MF and also [other than Nikon fit] manual aperture IIRC.) Pretty sure the Nikkor 14-24 will do the same. 12mm is extremely wide - wide enough for almost any eventuality except where you want an entire hemispherical viewpoint!

The Tamron is discontinued now iirc and is very hard to get hold of (not sure why this wasn't followed with a mk2 as its suburb, maybe it's coming??) . The Samyang is indeed manual focus and aperture (on all mounts) but it's very easy to use, and amazing value for such a sharp FF UWA.
