I went out at the weekend in search of Adders, but ended up finding this instead

It was blowing a gale up on the top of the Moors and luckily was blowing my scent in the opposite direction which allowed me to get pretty darn close to this lovely beast........... i think my new camo gear is starting to pay off

Direction of light is just right and the backdrop has enabled a good amount of 'environment' in the scene without the subject being small in the frame.

Cheers, the light was a little harsher than i would have liked, but at least it's in the right direction, and i tried to get as low as possible to try and bring some of the foreground into shot to add to the depth and to fill the frame a little more
