What’s the story behind this one? Do you know?

I remember seeing very tall doors somewhere (might even be in this thread) and they were for a business that painted scenery for theatres. Has to be that tall (but still quite narrow) to get the scenery out.

I suspect the building you are thinking of is the former Elms Lesters scenery workshop at the junction of Flitcroft Street and Denmark Street, which is about a five minute walk away

The building on Shelton Street is currently the home of the London Film School, it is Listed Grade III.

Originally a part of the Combe brewery, I have read that Pevsner speculates it was adapted into a scenery workshop similar to Elms Lesters at some point.
