Very windy up on the Great Orme today. Much preferred the Forrest stages with the rain and gravel flying everywhere but you can't beat the Orme for the coastline view!

Wish I could have stayed in town for the Sunday now. Have you seen the news about what was found in the forests on Sunday? A bit scary!

Cracking shots there, what setup was you using? Super sharp!
 
I'm using a D800 with a 24-70 2.8 lens.

I think the copter was cancelled due to winds. Just a guess though as I could hardly stand up!
 
Thought so. Shame as it makes for some great shots. We could hear it over Dyfi but never got it at Gartheiniog. If we do make it a 3 day event next year then it's on my list of shots to get.
 
I'm definitely doing 3 days next year and I want to get more stages in. I'm sure @Rob E feels the same!
