Need opinions on this please, does it look like it's in focus and sharp? I'm unsure whether it's one for the bin or not

Seeing it enlarged it looks soft, more like camera shake though. :-( If it helps a little.

It's a great pose, but like Charles says the image is soft, which is a great shame, because if it was sharp it would be a belter of an image

I would think that it is a big crop Paul as it is difficult to get the focus on the head at a distance

but a great bird to watch

so it's not a big crop - you got very near the bird - amazing!

It was on a boat trip on Isle of Mull Bill, they take you out to photograph them if they show, didn't have any luck till on our way back and she came out of nowhere so the skipper threw a fish in and I managed to balls the shot up

I think you can afford to print it to a reasonable size (whatever I mean) and hang it on the wall. Make sure there is an armchair in front to stop people getting too close. It is too good a picture to let it go to waste.
