Hi all,

Yesterday saw me at my first motorport event of 2015 and the first time out with the camera since Rally GB. The weather & lighting was up 'n' down but on the whole we had a good day with a great entry list of cars to photo.

A nice set, like the first with the back lighting.

A comment on the colour popped Fiesta, you have still got a piece of a Hi Vis jacket above the roof air intake. ;)

In No 8 did you use flash to freeze the movement of the Escort?

Would love to say 'of course' but to be honest it was something I had seen elsewhere on here. When i saw the other image i just thought that it gave that good mix of slow shutter movement and detail. I reduced the FEC to around 1/32 to take away some of the harshness...especially off the number plate.

It's worked well.

Great shots, I was there too at the speech house stage ( some tight left up slight incline area)

The first shot is a ripper ,love it ,great action ,lighting and composition .I really like the way you have included the spectators and up the stage . The rest are good but not in the same league as the first for me .

I think you were blessed with perfect weather, the first image is excellent, it's a dynamic shot helped by the dynamic lighting conditions!
Enjoyed the others too, great action and again interesting lighting which can be the icing on the cake, constant bright or dull light
is boring by comparison.

cheers
Tony
