Either you’ve found a bittern hotspot or you’re spending a lot of time in a hide! Lovely shot of a very elusive bird. It would have been nice if the outline of the bittern didn’t bisect the line of the reeds... But then it would have been in the messy water at the bottom.... Either way, as Russ says, keep them coming!

Thanks for the encouraging comments everyone And Tom thanks for pointing out the line of the reeds ? And yes Tom 16 hours that weekend to get those shots I see so many people come and go in about 5 minutes and wonder why they don’t see any ?
 
Your patience is certainly paying off, you've produced some cracking shots. I spent 6hrs in a hide today and not a jot.
