Amazing images. As someone hasn't done this genre, I can't imagine how you get these shots.

Super set Alf.

The first two look like they may have been a bit difficult. Was the spider moving around for those? And quite small too I suspect given the prey. The web would have been moving too if there was any breeze. I really like the composition of the first one.

The deer flies are impressive looking beasts.

Thanks Nick those first two shots a selected from dozens of shots of this spider with more successful shots than expected it was not easy and there was a breeze I had to keep re positioning due to spider moving around but perseverance can pay off.

Deer flies and cleggs look impressive but they are about the only thing I swat away
