YORKSHIRE WILDLIFE PARK

They nearly all look a bit soft to me, but it may be the image host. Any clues to your gear and settings?

hi there i was using a sony a77mk2 with a minolta 300mm f2.8 or a sony 70-400g mk2 some of the shots where taken with a 2x converter on the 300mm
setting where aperture priority , iso 320
to be honest i really im only just learning what a lot of setting do for me
thanks for the reply

They look a bit soft to me too. What aperture did you use?
Did you shoot raw or jpeg? They might benefit from a bit of sharpening.

Love the meerkat Baby! Or is that a lemur?

Lose the 2x converter, you don't really need it at most zoos and the do tend to effect the sharpness of many lenses
Little lemur is best of the bunch, as others have said most look a tad soft, and you've blown the highlights on some too,
common thing in bright sunlight, what type of metering do you use.

Not a bad effort for a beginner, keep practicing and you'll get there (y)

I can't really add more than what has already been said re softness and losing the 2x converter - I agree with what has already been said - but I just wanted to suggest something. When you post pictures here for crit I think it is best to limit it to 3 / 4 shots. You will probably get more constructive feedback.
