Critique You like a rainy day?

I know I will not impress a single Brit with this rain
but, for this area, it is rather uncommon to have
both big rain and lots of well diffused warm light.

I think it's because we have bags of the stuff over here Kodiak
I have tried to replicate the feel and atmosphere of fresh rain but you can never get that smell... That fresh smell the rain pushes up of mingled earth, crops etc.
I think the rain probably makes the shot look a little soft but that is the point.
Personally I get the 'feel' from your shots being brought up on a farm. No1 for me with the tractor tracks! Strange way to cultivate the land? Small strips of Barley and different crops drilled beside? I take it it's a very small farm?

dry dust in my nose and rain makes great pictures

Local farmers have paid a heavy price for the old
monoculture and have learned other ways.
