Personally I really like the first 3 but not liking the lighting on the last (figure you couldn't do anything about it though!) and it doesn't really fit with the other 3 in the series!

I like these... some great expressions of concentration, introspection and elation. All emotions anyone who competes in anything will no doubt feel keenly.

What I disagree with is the "up close". The use of the long lens doesn't make me feel that at all... the opposite in fact. I feel remote, and distant. Still effective images though.

Lighting is a bit contrasty on the last one though... A burst of fill flash would have been good here. In contrasty sunlight... always have a speedlight in your bag
