Had a few hours at RSPB Ham Wall today and although it was pretty quiet in the main, the highlight was watching a GSW chick at the nest hole and being fed by the parents.
Horrible scenario for photography with a strong backlight through the trees and the nest hole in shadow but I couldn't resist a few (!) shots :)
Flickr is still playing up for me following their move but I managed to get one photo up.

Nikon D850 + Nikon 200-500
f7.1
1/1000
ISO 2000
1.3 compensation
Large crop.

Something I seldom use. I forget which one to use... plus or minus. A shame really as the Sony a7iii has a dedicated dial for exposure compensation. I must learn which one I need at any given situation.
