I haven't shot much motor sport, and only ever saw one crash with my camera.

This was at sanyapod, I was in the pits at the time so only had a short lens on, heard a big bang and ran to the wall and caught this. It's had the life cropped out of it and shutter was far too slow so isn't technically great. IIRC the turbo had a bit of a falling out with the rest of the engine and decided to leave. Those that know santapod will notice he may net be facing quite the right way.

I did a search and couldn't find another similar thread and I can't claim any originality for the title - stole the idea from another forum...
Anyway, lets see your best crash shots.
Try to post pics of crashes - this doesn't include things like cars just running of the track into gravel traps etc, we want crashes...

I don't think that you really want to see mine.

Perhaps you need to define "best" and insert "where people were not seriously injured or killed" into your original question?

Having seen two people burned to a crisp, way back; I still have some difficulty with barby invitations.

I was going to ask did the bike reach where you were stood.
It stayed the right side of the tyres but it was getting very big in the viewfinder

Nup...
I'll leave the discretion to the user to post or not post their pics depending on how appropriate they feel it is...

Not really my thing, but here's one of the very few crash shot's I've taken:

One of the Land Rovers on Wales Rally GB National, a bit hot into this right hander but amazingly, he didn't go over and carried on as though nothing happened.

Some great shots in this thread! - thought I'd put my best forward.

February 2013 @ Buckmore Park Kart circuit

The advertising board makes this picture. I'm fairly proud of it.

Don't worry - the driver was fine - pulled it out from under the wall, and kept going!

Not been back to this thread for a while, nor even taken many crash shots, but here's a rare beastie.... Ben Wilson checks out of Donington last weekend:

The rest of the sequence is on the website if you are really interested :D
