Few shots of a jumping spider eating breakfast this morning. Can't believe it, never seen one of these before then see one two days running. These things are SMALL, about 4-5mm in length. Here it is having breakfast, god knows how small the fly is  These are pretty much 1:1 crops of 1:1 macro

I love it
Which lens did you used?
I have the canon 100mm Macro with a ring flash
Trying trying my best
Only a very few shots are worth looking lol.
Thanks. It's the Sigma 105mm OS HSM macro. I'm really impressed with how much cropping it can stand up to, even with a bit of diffraction creeping in at f16.

Nice work Toby great subjet I like them all

Cracking images Toby - the buggers are quick but if they're having a sit down meal, then at least you get a decent chance - and in this instance it has been well executed.

Paul.

Nice series. I particularly like the first of the second three where you get a really good view of both the spider and the prey.
Thanks guys, much appreciated.
