First try of pickled chillies today, the taste of the spirit vinegar with the heat of the jalapenos is quite interesting.
My real favourite is Scotch Bonnet, has a really distinctive flavour even over the heat - how do you like your chillies?
 
I'm looking forwards to doing this next year here. Sadly the Scotch Bonnets I planted haven't germinated or Aurora's so just so Cayenne's and Hungarian Blacks growing.

I have been told Hungarian Black's are very much like Jalapenos (Mild with lots of flavour) so it will be good to see how they turn out pickled.

how do you like your chillies?

Finely chopped and rubbed in Matt Cardle's eyes :D

I like mine sweet and in Thai food.
