Thought I would write a little :)embarrassed:) tutorial for those with PSP. Stemming from THIS thread

** My apologies to Chuckurbarla for not replying to your PM sooner, hope this makes up for it**

OK here we go.

Open your chosen image in PSP like so:

Then right click on the image and click on copy:...

That should bring up this little box...

Select the '180' option as shown above.

Now your image should be upside down like this:

Now go to 'Image' again, this time select 'resize' ...

Image13.jpg

This little box should then pop up ...

Make sure the 'Lock aspect ratio' box is unchecked, and then change the size (in the big red circle) so that the small measurement matches the larger one. In this case I matched the height with the width.

Doing that should give you a square image like this:

Now the fun part!

Go to 'Effects' then to 'Distortion effects' and then to 'Polar coordinates..'

That should then bring up the following little box:

Making sure that the 'Rectangular to polar' and 'Colour' dots are selected ... hit 'OK'.

And TA DA! You should have your mini planet!

Then edit it how you please, smudge or clone the sky into the corners, leave as is, or simply crop it. The choice is yours.

Hope this is useful to those like me who don't have that expensive editing programme that everyone else raves about

Great tutorial Jo. Many many thanks :)

No need to apologise, I've got plenty to do in the meantime.
