The outer plastic bit you turn to extend the lens is glued on to the part it turns, this glue can deteriorate and it loosens and doesn't grip properly. Can be refixed with double sided sticky tape or regluing.
Ive sold stuff before and was asked where it was sourced from. Always said I’d purchased used. Had heard they won’t take grey stuff, but don’t see any issues if you don’t know/say where it came from originally.
I've done this a few times. Always worked fine for me. Both with Jpegs from the GoPro and from other cameras on a time lapse mode. Maybe there is something in the settings. Have you checked the converted file is ok? Also worth updating the GoPro studio software if that helps.
As others say the first thing is to get low down. Get the dogs eye contact with the camera (or person behind the camera with ball/treat etc), and focus on the closest eye.
Definitely worth getting an engineer out. My speed dropped over a couple of months and then it failed all together. Engineer came out and reckoned the switch in the cabinet had been failing for a while then broke all together. Once replaced and fixed the speed nearly doubled what it had been in...
I have a Netatmo Thermostat, which is excellent- it was simple to rewire the receiver in place of an old wired thermostat and use the new wireless thermostat wherever suits. I was put of Hive as I would have had to had fitted it myself as BG wouldnt fit to an oil system but sounded good and does...
Once you have done your picks you can use the 'refine' photos option to change the picks to unflagged and unflagged to rejected. Then periodically delete all rejected to get rid of the unwanted.
Id adjust for the focal length and subject distance that you use most. Which I would imagine for most people would be the long end, and fairly close, which would also where the front focus would be most noticeable.
While I have not returned a lens to them under those circumstances, I have returned all sorts of things for various reasons and would be amazed if they wouldn't. You could always ask them? In any case I can't see that Amazon would have any interest in testing/checking a return in these...
Don't see the issue with this packaging. I think that if lens elements moved so freely there would be a lot more duff lenses reported.
One of the main reasons I use Amazon is the aftersales and customer service and returns policy. If Amazon are cheapest I'd keep buying/returning till you get...
I agree it would be far better if they put a raw editing function in camera like most other manufacturers do.
The other thing that gets my goat is the lack of auto ISO in manual mode. Both could be easily fixed with firmware update if Panasonic wanted to.
