Sorry for the delay in replying, I'm on nights. Thanks for the link, that IS scary! The camera is fine (luckily). Sorry, I can understand the confusion, I've not made myself very clear, but I was kind of confused myself. (As you say, lens cleaning wipes are for just that!) I'll try and...

Thanks, yes, I agree. I don't generally use them, but my lens cleaning kit has disappeared (am ordering another), just wanted to see if it would work first. :)

Opps. Sorry, I got over-excited that my camera didn't need a big job! :hungover::LOL: I watched a youtube video on how to clean the sensor, I used one of those lens wipes and cleaned it. I can't find my blower thing, but I shall get one.

    Bleak Room

Another room in the same place. Same technique! Unable (unsafe) to access, just point and shoot (not usually my method). Room 101 BW by Jackie Crossley, on Flickr

    Bleak Room

I haven't been on the forum for some time, but since I was on last I've started doing a little bit of urbexing. And I've found it fascinating! This is one I took a couple of months ago. We couldn't actually get into the building, and it was very dark, so I literally pointed the camera in...

    Urban Decay - Bourton Mill

Great find! Some of the graffiti looks interesting, and I like the machinery and the detail in the ceiling on the last photo, so maybe closer up with more detail would be good.

Thank you, it worked! I thought it would be far more of a faff, but it wasn't! :D

    Time to quit?

If you're only getting 10 photographs a year, it seems you are being extremely self-critical. I can really understand the boredom, as that is a lot of work for very little reward. I love wildlife photography, but I do not have the patience to sit for an hour, waiting for a bird to land, or...

    An inquisitive young swan

That's fabulous! You must have been very patient and stood very still, or it was VERY curious. Nice one.

It worked! I've never cleaned the inside sensor before, but I didn't realise I could get access without a screwdriver and balls of steel. I thought the camera did it. I now have the embarrassment of thinking that I should have known this a couple of years back, when I...
