Seriously, just buy a set of ebay screwdrivers and don't worry about the 0.1mm difference. You won't be screwing it in until your hands bleed anyway, just until it's snug.

There is a way to reduce it - shoot from live view mode. Because in LV the mirror is already up (which is why you can't see through the viewfinder).

Yeah the only thing I miss from LR is layers and layer masks, i only ever go into PS to use them. Also i love the graduated ND filter at the top, no need for expensive filters now!

Hi it does take a while to get comfortable using Lightroom but once you get used to it it makes photo editing an absolute joy! I hardly touch photoshop now. You can undo by pressing CTRL (or CMD on mac) + Z. CTRL + SHIFT + Z will go forward again. Or you can go Edit --> Redo. You can do this...

Hi yes i am shooting RAW + Jpeg. I've done that and there are no identical pairs - some are RAW files some are Jpeg. It did this on the last batch i imported. I've had a look on the card and all the original RAW+Jpeg files are still there but i can't understand why LR is importing some as one...

That is a very good spot, Thanks. Next question is - why is LR importing a random mix of RAW and Jpeg? I'm shooting in 'Raw with large fine Jpeg' in my camera settings so all the photos should have a RAW file.

Help! For some reason, out of an entire shoot lighroom will decide to change the WB and Tint on around 1/4 to 1/3 of the photos. It's not until i actually select the photo in the viewer that the change occurs, so everything imports fine until the photo is selected and then after a second or two...

Have you tried replacing the clock battery? You mentioned that you'd taken it out and put it back in again but you should try a new one. Also it sounds stupid but have you tried giving it a gentle tap on a wooden table? It shouldn't hurt it as its designed to take a knock and if it's a loose...

What Dan said. If you're flash - to - subject distance was going to be the same every time (say if you set up a booth) and your ambient levels wouldn't change (ie. the sun isn't popping out from behind the clouds every other shot) then you would use Manual flash and Manual mode on cam and set...
