Oh don't get me wrong — I still like it a lot and am far more comfortable with it than the Fuji but there's no denying things have moved on a bit! Two things it's better at than the X-E1: writing to card speed and autofocus speed.

Just bought an x-e1 so looking forward to contributing. Even though it's been replaced, it's still far better than my previous, a Canon 400d!

Yeah, just realising now that static props are a 'thing'. I was just really happy to get them in focus!

Oh yeah, gotcha. I used that a bit on the day, but not consistently, nor with such specifics in mind. Thanks for the rule of thumb! :-)

@cw318is Thanks for those tips, although I'm not sure what 'EC' stands for? Yes, the first one needed a lot of noise reduction as the subject was very small in the frame and it's a really big crop. I have a 400D and a Sigma 70-300 and that fits in the bottom compartment, so I have no doubt your combo would fit in the top. The inside is made up of positionable dividers so you can lay it out to suit your stuff. Cam.

I got one of these off eBay a couple of weeks ago. It's my first proper camera bag, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I've been very happy with it so far. I like that it is in two compartments. Right now, all my gear (one camera, three lenses) fits into the bottom (smaller)...
