    Laptops...

There you go, I refuse to go CC so I am running LR 6 stand alone and elements 13, 1 core lights up. LR is probably one of the worst pieces of software written, love the interface and everything else about it but just wished it was a slick as capture one. slightly off topic but..........

    Laptops...

From what I understand, Photoshop and Lightroom for that matter, dont use the processor that much in terms of cores, its all about clock speed. I suppose if you edit heavy, stitching pano's stacking etc then you'll be wanting something that can run about 4.0 Mhz or higher, this coupled with 16gb...

    My Bridge

This looks fantastic and your write up regarding your connections with the bridge tells me you know its best angles. However, I cant help but feel that it also looks very graphic like, almost like something you would see on an intro to an xbox action game. It's better than I could ever hope to...

    I Give Up

I hear you and feel your pain brother, its not just forgetting your kit, its the organising of the family ad making sure they are attended to first. Being a family man myself I know the opportunities don't arise very often and when they do something like this happens and you just think to...

    Outdoor photography Magazine

Yes, I know, such as size and quality but im not sure how to export an image straight from lightroom that meets their requirements. I usually just hit 100%quality and 300 dpi. Not very technologically minded you see. I suppose its very simple, if you know how?

    Outdoor photography Magazine

Has anyone every submitted an image to Outdoor Photography Magazine? If so, what is the image submission criteria? OPM do give instructions on image size etc but I would like to know how this translates into LR export procedure for a 24mp image? Any ideas?

Who is your favourite landscape photographer?

For me probably Joe Cornish............... but I am getting tired of all over processed HDR, lifted shadow rubbish that we're force fed in the photography world. Some of the guys who use large format produce some good looking natural stuff though.

First Wedding photos and thoughts - comments and critique welcome

I hope this to be the first of many jobs for you, Wedding photography can be extremely stressful, and in some cases off-putting. Keep up the excellent work and try to charge as much as you can for your service. For some reason what you charge never seems enough especially when you're sitting at...

First Wedding photos and thoughts - comments and critique welcome

To clarify. Wedding toggers have a lot of ideas of shots they would like to get and plan them in advance, people, locations, lighting etc but it doesn't always go that way. I see this in some of these photos, I am not saying they are bad, they are good but you should be able to see the things...
