Well my EOS-M has just become even more useful with the addition of this > http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00LX4THS8/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=569136327&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00NZ3ANGU&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=0FG54DTSC20P2WA5J1HP
Took it with me on a recent Red Sea...
I'm just back from a long weekend in NYC for my girlfriends 40th birthday and with our 2.5yo daughter.
Decided just to take the M as I thought I'd have my hands full with a 5D2, and from a quick scan through the shots am very happy. Most were taken with the 22mm although I did pop on the...
Yes, but the Fire HDX is not really a "Kindle" - which I would argue is Amazon's classic eBook reader (i.e. eInk and not a backlit tablet)
Sounds like you're looking for a tablet though, and there is a growing number to choose from. Good luck...
I've been meaning to put some pictures up from mine, but never seem to find the time :D We had a nice early evening moon yesterday though, so stuck a 70-200 and 1.4x convertor on the EOS M and shot this handheld. Didn't think it was too bad?
Great shots! For £199 this little camera is a real powerhouse and great value for money, considering the quality of the kit lens and the included min-flash gun.
My 22mm arrived today (£79 on eBay) so will hopefully have time to play at the weekend :D
Didn't think of that :D
Shame you can't just buy the clips, so I still have the option of the original strap without having to re-thread.
Using the EOS-M more and more now as it's so much easier to pick up when you're heading out than the 5D is.
After seeing some of the pictures in the link above it clearly wasn't too foggy for pictures :D
I was clearly in the wrong place with a poor technique! I was using a 70-200 2.8 and had manual focus on the bridge. ISO 100, F13 and was using bulb (via remote) for 3-4 seconds. What should I do...
Was that taken from the layby just outside Newton?
I decided to head down from Linlithgow at about 9:30pm not expecting to get in the layby but not expecting the number of cars parked up almost down to Queensferry! Ended up turning off at the bottom of the hill into the office entrance and...
This is the best advice. Forget the sharpness, aperture or IS, which isn't going to be that noticeable for most shots, but the extra weight will be for every shot.
After carrying the 2.8 IS around all day, I often wonder if I should have just stuck with the 4 IS :D
Damn this thread! I've been umming and aaring about picking one of these up, but eventually decided that for £189 I'd just kick myself if I didn't :D
Not had much chance to play yet, but have ordered a 3rd party EF/S mount so will hopefully take some shots this weekend. Might be going along...
I was planning to dive at the weekend and was also hoping to fit in a weeks diving in Egypt at the end of the month, but had a small accident with my car last week that also resulted in a burnt hand so not sure I'll be doing either at the minute :(
