heres my tips about ubuntu or other distros
ive tried most of them and i think the best versions to use are mint, ubuntu 12.04, elementary luna OS and xubuntu all have very good software easy to use and lots of good editing software etc photo and video all free there are always supported...
also regarding the point made being a tech savvy for linux you dont need to be its very easy to use there are alot of user friendly versions not all complicated for example elementary luna OS is very good i have dual booted it on this laptop with ubuntu 12.04 which is also good stable and easy...
the stuff will be still supported and no linux does not require a anti virus ive been using it for years without one there are many updates installed that do a anti virus scan but its not the same software as windows a lot of software in xp is still supported and will update its xp that wont get...
or you could experiment like myself and use a small camcorder with a sd slot
i used a small camcorder that i have attached to my cycle helmet to record my bike rides to test it and it works pretty good you could do a similar thing by attaching it somewhere on the balloon which might work
there are a few good video editors on android i have tested them myself and they work quite well but best to use computer for main stuff if you want very similar to android which of course is linux based you could try ubuntu
how cool is that nice video as well how fast is that its a nippy little thing aint it not bad for that price i was gonna get the chopper but i think i might get that instead how much video can it record
most of your stuff in xp will be fine it will still get updated its just xp is not getting actual support in my opinion your better off upgrading to ubuntu you dont need a anti virus there a good load of photogrpajhy editing sofware all free and thousands of other free programs if you dont surf...
yea they were really cool stick to your hands when you hold them very hard to get them off lol but when you watch them make a cacoon its really cool i have a video on my youtube
